Welcome to Lanna Teak Galleries web site. We are a retailer and wholesaler of Teak wood furniture located in Northern California. All of our Teak furniture is hand picked by one of the owners and are purchased right at the factory site in Thailand and shipped to our company in the United States.

We do all of our own sourcing and that, coupled with sound business practises and customer satisfaction, has been key to our success.Lanna Teak specializes in creating unique luxurious furniture using the natural form of each recycled or reclaimed piece of teak. Teak with the beauty of its grain, rich color, and timeless durability is treasured as the best suited wood for premier outdoor furniture and for use aboard boats and yachts.

Our teak comes from Thailand, Burma and Laos and is old wood left over from the past made into useful, rustic furnishings.

Many of our pieces have a history such as old pig troughs made into decorative planters. Burmese teak is denser and heavier with five times the natural oil content. Its appearance is a richer golden color with more beautiful grain patterns. The higher oil content aids in prolonging the natural weathering process and its high density naturally repels parasites.

Today, almost 90% of all teak outdoor furniture is made from the lesser quality Indonesian plantation teak. You will find our pieces are thick and solid, and because of age, does not crack or split. Not all teak wood is the same. Our indoor/outdoor teak furniture is crafted of genuine reclaimed Burmese teak (Tectona Grandis), the worlds finest. The finest craftsmanship is put into every phase of construction and is proudly displayed in each elegant looking and comfortable fitting piece of teak furniture.
